    The Art of Green Gifting

Is a blog series that celebrates mindful, meaningful ways to give, from handmade pieces and up-cycled textiles to low-impact wrapping and thoughtful gestures. A Creative Platform for Sustainable Fashion, Slow Living and Mindful Craft

Wilde Hippi by Tala

Is a space shaped by slow fashion, sustainable textiles and reflective storytelling. It grew out of my two decades in the fashion industry, and a personal journey through motherhood, ethical production and regenerative design thinking. Over time, I realised that fashion could be more than seasonal trends. It could be a way to reconnect with craft, nature and community.

Here you will find upcycled pieces made with care, mindful DIY projects, and reflections from my MA in Fashion Sustainability. Through the blog, book club and workshops, I share how fibres, plants and heritage processes can inspire new ways of making and living. My hope is that these resources give others practical tools as well as inspiration to explore slow fashion in their own lives.

Wilde Hippi is still growing, but at its heart it is about learning, creating and connecting with intention. It is a reminder that change often begins small, in the act of mending, in the choice of fibre, or in the story behind a gift. Each of these actions carries the potential to spark something larger. One stitch, one story, one act of change at a time.

With warmth and creativity,

Tala
