What Do You See?

An invitation to explore the space between nature and the subconscious.

This series began during slow nature walks. Certain roots, stones, and leaves caught my eye, something in their shape, texture, or shadow quietly pulled me in.

Mirrored image of tropical palm leaves arranged in a symmetrical, Rorschach-like pattern, creating a reflective and abstract forest-inspired visual.

After a soul-nourishing coffee morning where I spoke with a new friend about art therapy as a doorway into the subconscious, I returned to these images. I mirrored them, adjusted the tones, and watched new shapes appear. Some felt beautiful. Others felt uncomfortable. Curious, I searched for meaning and came across this:

“This is nature’s version of a Rorschach test, a kind of visual meditation.”

Symmetrical forest scene featuring interwoven tree roots and branches, mirrored to create a geometric, abstract pattern resembling a natural cathedral or woven structure. That struck a chord.

Symmetrical image of tree roots and large rocks mirrored to create an abstract, earthy pattern resembling a face or mask—evoking a Rorschach-like effect from nature.

These are more than images.
They’re mirrors.
Mirrors for your subconscious.
Mirrors for your state of mind.

Mirrored forest image featuring mossy logs and tropical vines, forming a symmetrical pattern that evokes a jungle temple or hidden totem-like figure.

You might see wings, faces, portals, or even something unsettling. That’s okay. What we notice often reflects what we’re holding inside, sometimes things we haven’t yet put into words.

Symmetrical composition of large Monstera leaves, mirrored to form an abstract botanical pattern with a mask-like or winged creature appearance.

So I invite you to slow down. Look again.
Let the shapes speak.
And if something stirs in you… I’d love to hear.

Mirrored silhouette of tree branches against a deep blue sky, forming a symmetrical, almost celestial figure that evokes a meditative or spiritual presence.

Message me and tell me what you see.
With love,
